{"id":269,"date":"2022-05-30T11:51:44","date_gmt":"2022-05-30T11:51:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.answerconnect.co.uk\/helpcentre\/?p=269"},"modified":"2022-08-19T15:48:31","modified_gmt":"2022-08-19T15:48:31","slug":"are-my-calls-recorded-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.answerconnect.co.uk\/help-centre\/getting-started\/are-my-calls-recorded-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Are my calls recorded?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Your calls are not recorded by default, but call recording is available upon request at no additional charge.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you do choose to record your calls, be aware that under current law we are obligated to inform callers that the call is being recorded.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can activate or deactivate call recording on your account at any time through your AnswerConnect Portal.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just log in with your username and password at&nbsp; <a href=\"http:\/\/access.answerconnect.co.uk\">access.answerconnect.co.uk<\/a> or by using the login button at the upper right corner of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.answerconnect.co.uk\">AnswerConnect home page<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Select <strong>Settings<\/strong><\/li><li>Choose <strong>Services<\/strong> and select the telephone number for which you want to enable call recording.*<\/li><li>Click <strong>More<\/strong> and slide the call recording toggle switch to <strong>On<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>*Note that if you have more than one sub-account, you will need to control the call recording for each sub-account individually. Choose which sub-account to manage with the dropdown at the top of the main menu on the left side of the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Important: This process does not directly activate the call recordings. Instead, it will trigger a task for the service team and we have to change the routing for calls to be recorded.
