What does the integration do?
This integration automatically pushes caller information to Insightly as either a contact or a lead.
This integration is a one-way sync.
Activating the integration
From your AnswerConnect app:
- Click Settings
- Select Advanced Settings
- Select Integrations.
- Choose the Insightly integration card.
- Click Integrate
Enter your Insightly username and password.
You can give your Insightly account a name if you like. This can help if you plan to link more than one Insightly account to AnswerConnect.
Input your Insightly API key. To get your key, go to your Insightly account and click the profile icon. Choose User Settings and then copy your API key.
Choose the Insightly list where you want to export your AnswerConnect data. This is where you decide if the contacts from your AnswerConnect account will be exported to Insightly as a contact or lead.
Completing the setup
Map the contact fields by choosing which AnswerConnect contact fields will transfer into their corresponding Insightly attributes. Then, click Continue.
Mandatory fields are marked with a red asterisk.
Test the target to verify that the contact fields are mapped correctly. Successful mapping will activate the integration.
Deactivating the integration
To deactivate the integration:
- Go to Settings
- Select Advanced Settings
- Click Integrations
- Choose the Insightly integration card
- Click Deactivate
